Tree Climber 03:19
you're climbing to the top of that tree for a better view of a town that just can't stand you, but what else can you do? oh, so you've got a tree? well, it's got a mouth. you keep all your secrets locked in a house up in the braches, above the ground. they're all spilling out, now. they're all spilling out! leaves that covered your face are falling down to the spaces in between the filters and the seems, the poisons in your dreams. you're climbing to the top of that tree for a better view of a town that just can't stand you, but what else can you do? cuz i give it my all, but still every fall the animals go away. i grew strong and stood tall, but fell to a chainsaw. your life was paved in my place. now you're trapped up there, ego's stuck in one of those branches. i'm throwing rocks up there, aiming for a beehive, hoping they sting you. whatever goes up has to come down... whoever thought you'd never miss the ground? you're climbing to the top of that tree for a better view of a town that just can't stand you... what else can you do? what else can you do? your hands are always too cold for my cheekbones, turning hot coals into balls of snow.

Maybe.. 02:16
woke up this morning drenched in sweat, heard your voice say i lost the bet. radio's on louder in your mind, maybe you'll remember what you left behind. don't forget me this isn't easy had your last chance now i am done this dance. maybe. just maybe. sounds fly by, speed of light. something feels not quite alright. the time i've had, the things i've done. the world's gone by... the greens, the sun. i'll take these memories store them away til winter is over and warmth comes to stay.

Tongue Biter 04:01
i said a lot of words that don't mean anything.. that is how i learned i'm not good at talking. from now on, i'll sing everything from now on. i'll mean everything i don't want to see you go, but i will oh, i don't want to let you go, but i have to i absolutely have to. my tongue is running faster than my mouth can keep up with. (up with) this is the only project i haven't given up with. (up with) i don't want to see you go, but i will, oh, i don't want to let you go, but i have to. (i absolutely have to.) i won't talk to you, i won't call... i won't say anything anymore. i'll speak in riddles so that no one knows... another planet, a place to hide or go where light won't reach us and nothing grows. i'll just rot away, become one with the earth. one with the earth. become one with the earth.

about

Starting with core members of Holding Caulfield, Damien McGowan and Dillon Marra writing these song with a grand piano and a drum kit they decided to take their songs to the studio where multiple minds where able to add their influence to the tracks.
